Paul Cataford


Mr. Cataford, age 52, is a business executive specializing in emerging technology company creation and growth. His specific skill sets include strategy formulation and execution; mergers and acquisitions; corporate finance (public & private, equity & debt); corporate governance (public, private, not-for-profit and Crown Corporation boards); and operational management. Mr. Cataford has been the CEO and a director of Zephyr Sleep Technologies, a private company focused on the development, design and manufacturing of sleep-related medical devices, since he founded it in April 2010. He was also a partner of Espresso Capital Partners, an investment company specializing in short term loans to technology companies in Canada, from August 2010 to May 2014.

Mr. Cataford currently sits on the boards of Sierra Wireless Inc. (NASDAQ & TSX: SWIR), AgJunction Inc. (TSX: AJX) (formerly Hemisphere GPS Inc.) and Defense Construction Canada (a Crown Corporation). He holds a Bachelor of Science (Mech. Engineering) degree from Queen’s University, a Master of Business Administration (Finance & Strategy) degree from the Schulich School of Business, and an ICD.D (Corp. Director) designation from the Rotman School of Business.
